JoAnna “J.A.D.E.” McPhail is the creator behind Just Another Dope Entity LLC—a production company built for stories with personality, purpose, and a soundtrack. She’s a multi-hyphenate actor, writer, producer, and singer/songwriter, known for bringing emotional truth and sharp comedy to everything she touches.

Her “film school” came from the industry itself: over a decade working alongside studio line producers, directors, and showrunners, including multiple seasons of production on Survivors’ Remorse (Starz) and Lucifer (Fox/Netflix), where, in addition to her job duties, she served as a reader during table reads. She studied scripts, performance choices, and story structure up close. That experience sharpened her voice as both an artist and a builder—someone who can write it, produce it, and deliver it on camera.

JoAnna is currently taking her original work to the next level with Distressed—a short film heading to festivals—and Holy Trip, a new series shooting January 2026, both written by and starring her. Through Just Another Dope Entity, she’s committed to creating bold, culturally honest projects that feel cinematic, entertaining, and unmistakably hers—made from the page, brought to life in performance, and elevated through music.
